Hier werde ich versuchen alle News zu Kajols kommenden Projekten zu posten die sich nicht immer unbedingt auf sie beziehen sondern auf die Filme. Im Moment sind es Toonpur und Khan, mal sehen was noch so dazu kommt =)

The corporatisation of Bollywood is a recent phenomenon but there have been two production houses that had already imbibed the culture long back. We are obviously referring to Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions, who have more or less stuck to their shooting, pre & post-production and release schedules.

While the next three releases from Yash Raj Films, BACHNA AE HASEENO, ROADSIDE ROMEO and RAB NE BANA DI JODI already have their release dates announced, not much is known about the release schedule of Dharma Productions' most awaited project, Karan Johar's next directorial venture, MY NAME IS KHAN. However Johar's upcoming Mansukhani directed Abhishek, John and Priyanka starrer DOSTANA already has an announced release date of November 14.

So what is the schedule for the biggest project from Dharma Productions, featuring the winning pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol? Well, the good news for the eager fans of SRK-Kajol is that the pre-production is over and MY NAME IS KHAN is all set to take off next month end or early October in US. Dharma Productions have also gone ahead and given November 2009 as the tentative release date.

These days when all big time Bollywood producers are trying to give their films an extra edge can Karan Johar be far behind. First Snoop Dogg was spotted in Singh is Kingg. Then Sajid Nadiadwala roped in Sylester Stallone for a cameo in his next film. Ajay Devgan has bought in an action director from America for Toonpur Ka Superhero.

And now according to Mid-Day, the latest buzz is that Karan Johar is hopeful of getting permission to shoot for his new film My name is Khan at the White House of all the places. Karan is keen on the permission as the US president's residence is an integral part of the story.

But Karan Johar is in a relaxed frame of mind as his shoot will commence only in February 2009 and he has enough time to chase the permissions.

Mumbai: The Kajol-Shah Rukh jodi hasn't been seen together since Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001). The industry's fav jodi are committed to Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan due 2009. However, the two will be seen together before that in Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

However, Kajol is not paired with SRK in RNBDJ, she's only doing a song. It was director Aditya Chopra's idea to rope in Kajol.

Just one call away

The song will be shot in Mumbai. And Kajol will appear in one of the verses of a song filmed on Shah Rukh and newcomer Anushka Sharma. The setting of the song will be a Punjabi folk event, and Kajol appears seconds before the song ends. A source says, "It will be very similar to her appearance in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. All it took was a phone call from Adi for her to say yes."

Nostalgia

Chopra's directorial debut Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge starred SRK and Kajol in lead roles, and he was looking forward to having them together in the same frame.

SRK and Kajol have a blazing chemistry on-screen, and it is exciting for the audiences to see them together even for a few seconds. Which explains her presence in SRK starrers Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Om Shanti Om. An insider reveals, "Kajol is sentimental about working with Adi and Shah Rukh in a project after DDLJ."

No role for Rani

Recently, Rani was shooting in Amritsar when Shah Rukh was shooting for RNBDJ, giving rise to speculation that Adi would rope in his favourite actress too for his film. However, now it's confirmed that it's Kajol and not Rani who is making a brief appearance in the film.

Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol fans have a reason to rejoice. Aditya Chopra’s upcoming film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will see the super-hit jodi together once again. If sources are to be believed, Kajol will make a special appearance in the film.
A source said, “Kajol will be part of a dance number with Shah Rukh Khan in the film. The song is shot at Yash Raj Studios. Yash Raj Films is thrilled to have Kajol on board once again as SRK-Kajol films have always done well at the box-office.”

Will the SRK-Kajol magic work on the audience this time too? Only time will tell. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi stars Shah Rukh and model-turned-actress Anushka Sharma.
