9 am: Having coffee and getting ready to start my day. Feeling lazy... there's nothing like home sweet home...

10 am: My family has come over to play Holi. I think we should not waste too much water. Nysa is very excited (her dad is back home after so long and is playing Holi).

12 pm: Have ordered chaat, pani puri and dahi puri. Fast food for a change! I am so bored of diet food like grilled chicken and soup. Will take a break from that, today (Oops! Hope my trainer didn't hear me!).

2.30 pm: Shooting a commercial with Kajol and cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Reached Filmistan Studios in record time. I love driving so decided to take the wheels for a change!

4 pm: Food break. Ordered some pepperoni pizza for everyone. It's high on calories, but so what? I enjoy my kababs and chicken tikkas once in a while... Khao aur jeeyo...

7 pm: Have to give an interview for a NDTV Plant Trees, Go Green campaign. I wish I could have taken them to my Panvel farmhouse and shown them the true benefits of organic farming... sometimes actions speak larger than words...

9 pm: Suddenly remembered I am hosting a dinner for my family at home...

12 am... So gaya yeh jahan so gaya aasman... and me too... Early wake up call... Have to go to Delhi for Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? promotion tomorrow. Good night!

9 am: Catching an early morning flight to Delhi. Heading to the nation's capital to do some interviews for the promotion of my new movie, a comedy called 'Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge'.

11 am: I reach Delhi airport. It's a 30-minute drive to the hotel.

11.30 am: Reached the hotel. Settle down in my room. It's quite spacious. Miss home, though...


Facing salvoes of questions: In Delhi with Konkona

12.30 pm: Had some chicken sandwiches. India's World Cup Hockey team is put up here at the Le Meridien. Will take some time off from my packed schedule to meet them and wish them luck for further matches. My interviews for the day will begin sometime soon... anytime now, actually! I make my way to the Aaj Tak studio for the first interview of the day.

1.30 pm: I arrive at the studio. It's a live interview that goes reasonably well. I make my way back to the hotel.

2.30 pm: I reach the hotel and rest in my room for a while.

3 pm: Interview in the hotel with Anna Vetticad for Headlines Today.

3.30 pm: Took time out for lunch. Have to rush for the press conference later.

4 pm: The press conference begins. Usual questions... it's all cool

6 pm: Done with the press conference. Now heading for an interview with NDTV.

9 pm: Finally done with all the interviews here in Delhi. Now heading back to Mumbai. Have a flight to catch!

8 am: Spending time with my Nysa... have to meet her before she leaves for school. Really missed waking her up and cuddling her every morning when I was travelling...

8.30 am: Leave for Priyan's shoot for Garam Hawa in Capitol Cinema...

11 am: Breathing time to have strong coffee and read the latest newspapers...


Mr magician: Harish gets me another cuppa

1 pm: It's lunchtime...My trainer only allowed me grilled chicken from the Taj. :(

3 pm: I have five changes in today's shoot with Akshaye (Khanna)...I don black trousers (my fav colour), white shirt and grey tie for this scene...

6 pm: Feeling extremely sleepy. My last shot is yet to be given. My make-up and hair stylist Harish (Wadhone) appears like a magician with another cuppa coffee... soon will be done with the shoot soon.

7 pm: No we will not... just heard shooting's been extended till 9 pm today... Groan!

8 pm: In my van I find an atithi... my Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? producer Kumar Mangat. Waiting to tell me that the film's getting a great response all over... Thrilled!

9.30 pm: Reached Peddar Road but I refuse to fall asleep again...there's a beautiful moon coming over the sea across Haji Ali. I am humming the song...Thandi hawa yeh chandni suhani...

11 pm: Love listening to radio or watching films when in the car... Watching a Hollywood film now...

12.30 am: Home...Crashed! Good night!

6.30 am: Today my day starts very early. Getting ready to leave for Garam Hawa shoot at Capitol Cinema.

7 am: After having three cups of strong coffee still can't keep my eyes open...

7.30 am: Got a call informing me that today's shoot got cancelled. Paresh (Rawal) has fallen ill. Dropped Nysa off to school.


It's hummable: Listening to the recording

9 am: Got a break after months. I refuse to take any calls today.

11 am: I think I will have a little power nap. Haven't slept properly for days.

3 pm: Still feeling groggy... those 15 minutes turned out to be almost 4 hours. Late lunch and lolled around with Kajol and family. Had a lot of catching up to do... some family rather than filmi gossip for a change.

5 pm: One of my favorite directors, Rohit Shetty drops in to discuss my Golmaal3 look.

7 pm: Listening to a Golmaal 3 track at my office. A hummable number composed by Pritam. We make good music together.

9 pm: Still at the office taking in reactions from some of my media friends on Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? Checking out trade reports. People appear to have liked film...

10.30 pm: Just remembered... need to check my website... Haven't seen it for long time... I am lazy... getting the hang of Twitter.

11 pm: Early night... My last diary today... when I started I was a bit apprehensive but then I started enjoying it...
