BEREA, Ohio -- Terrelle Pryor said Monday he could be fined for his LeBron James celebration after his first receiving touchdown against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.Using a props a fine, Pryor said Monday.Pryor was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for what official Jeff Triplette said was using the ball as a prop. The NFL list of fines says that the first offense for unsportsmanlike conduct can carry a fine of $12,154. Pryors base pay is $1.671 million, which means he earns $98,294 per week, according to ESPNs Roster Management System.Pryor was penalized for doing what he called a tribute to James. It involved him pushing both hands down as he raised a leg, then imitating James powder toss.Pryor said he was merely excited about his first receiving touchdown in the second quarter. The penalty meant that Cody Parkey kicked off from the 20-yard line.I dont want to hurt my team, Pryor said Monday. But I ... I dont know, man. You got a battle going with a great corner [in the?Washington Redskins?Josh Norman]. We were down 14-zip and we came back. I was juiced up.He added that he apologizes to my teammates, especially the coaches and especially the special teams coaches.I put them in a bind, but the juices were flowing, man, Pryor said.In some ways Pryors celebration was understandable. He made the decision to move from quarterback to receiver about 18 months ago. Many thought making that move was impossible, but Pryor was committed to making it work, spending time with Randy Moss in the past two offseasons. This season he leads the Browns with 19 receptions for 290 yards. In an overtime loss in Miami he had 200 yards running, catching and passing -- including eight receptions for 144 yards.Pryors mistake was holding on to the ball while he celebrated. He had it in his hands and let go of the ball when he tossed the powder. Officials interpreted that as using the ball as a prop.I had no clue, Pryor said. I didnt know that. I mean, this was my first touchdown as a wideout.Norman also was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for doing a bow-and-arrow imitation without the ball after an interception.
