Speaking on the Inside the Huddle podcast, Jeff Reinebold and Neil Reynolds talked through the positions of the coaches, analysing whether their seat was safe, warm, or hot. Heres where they came down.. There is nobody in this game, with the possibility of Bill Belichick up in New England, that has any sort of long-term security, Jeff said. Its not what you signed up for when you get into coaching. You want security - call fort Knox! With the play-off race heating up, Neil and Jeff assess the head coaches under pressure to deliver. Inside the Huddle 16/11 Neil Reynolds and Jeff Reinebold discuss the week 10 action, as well as making picks for week 11. Head coach Chip Kelly joined the 49ers after three years in Philadelphia Chip Kelly - San Francisco 49ersIts so early on, and management know they have a depleted roster. I think there were low expectations in this first year, and some changes to come, but I dont think it will be him. - JeffTheyre still paying Jim Tomsula, they dont want to be paying Chip Kelly and a new coach as well. - NeilVerdict: Safe Jaguars coach Gus Bradley has struggled to turn the franchise around in his three seasons as head coach Gus Bradley - Jacksonville JaguarsEn fuego. For those of us who speak Spanish, that means on fire! - JeffVerdict: Hot Jeff Fisher gave up six draft picks to get quarterback Jared Goff, but has yet to play him Jeff Fisher - Los Angeles RamsThere were rumours in weeks two and three that Fisher had signed a contract extension, and the Rams are waiting for the right time to announce it. Surely they would have announced it by now?Weve talked about the handling of Jared Goff, but theres something thats not right with this team at the moment - NeilThis one will be interesting to see how it plays out. Offensively theyre not very good, and when everyone anticipated them to be a team that could run the ball well, that hasnt materialised at all. - JeffVerdict: Warm/Hot The Green Bay Packers have struggled this season, leaving Mike McCarthy under pressure Mike McCarthy - Green Bay PackersWhen youve got talent on your roster, and youre going through a three-game losing slump, the worst thing is they dont look fired up. - NeilWhen your quarterback comes out and says we lacked juice, which means youre not emotionally ready to play, combine with how they started against Tennessee, those are both indications that youve got a football team not ready to play. - JeffVerdict: Warm Marvin Lewis is the second-longest serving head coach currently in the NFL, behind Bill Belichick Marvin Lewis - Cincinnati BengalsThe Bengals arent playing at a level they need to play. Against the Giants the offence was based on trick plays, and once that wore off, the Giants had their way with them. They have got some really good players on defence but with discipline issues that continue to haunt them, all of these go back to the head coach. - JeffVerdict: Warm, but could get hot Hue Jackson and the Cleveland Browns have started again and must be patient to see rewards Hue Jackson - Cleveland BrownsI think hes safe right now. They understand they have a depleted roster, and theyre trying to put together a core group of players and change the culture. Its a long haul fix. - JeffOver the coming years, we will put the whole Browns management group on notice - a new approach in Cleveland, building from the start. But I cant trust the management until theres a new alternative at quarterback. - NeilVerdict: Safe... for now Jeff Reinebold believes Jets head coach Todd Bowles is dealing with the pressure of the New York media Todd Bowles - New York JetsThat seat can get hot real fast with the way the New York media work. This is a difficult one because they came to within a game of the play-offs, followed by an acrimonious contract negotiation with your quarterback who now isnt playing well. That can lead to cracks in the organisation.I think Bowles is doing a great job living in the fish bowl that is New York City and the constant criticism you get in the media there. - JeffVerdict: WarmYou can follow the results of all the coaches and their teams on NFL Redzone, live on Sky Sports Mix from 6pm every Sunday. The bald, worn patches on the courts of the All England Club are healing. This means its time to move on to the next part of the tennis season.Make no mistake: The summer swing is brutal -- and hot. This year, it will be complicated by the addition of the Rio Games, which has created scheduling abnormalities and withdrawals from some of the top players in some of the top events. So what should we expect from this selection of stars as the hard-court season begins in earnest? Our writers weigh in:How will Novak Djokovics early loss at Wimbledon affect his summer swing?Nic Atkin: He looked distracted at Wimbledon, but dont be fooled: Djokovic will come back strong, and he will be ready to dominate again. A motivated Djokovic is a scary thought, given what he has already accomplished while beating all comers, and he will also have benefited from skipping Serbias Davis Cup defeat to Great Britain.Jim Caple: Depending on whether he will be fully healthy, I think it will slightly affect his summer swing -- in that it will fire him up to play even better. He is the easily the best player in the world. Look for him to win another Slam at the US Open.Greg Garber: Not at all. Wimbledon was the French Open hangover -- that delivered him to his summer vacation a week early.Melissa Isaacson: Djokovic said after the loss to Sam Querrey that he was not really 100 percent, but wouldnt elaborate, though he did say he wanted to get away from tennis and pay more attention to his family. Understandable, and it might be just what he needed to break up the long grind and recharge from the recent disappointment. What would mean more to Serena Williams at this point in her career? Olympic gold or the US Open title?Atkin: Youve got to think Serenas focus will be leaning toward the US Open. Not only can she overtake Steffi Grafs major title haul, but Serena will also be sure to equal the Germans record reign of 186 consecutive weeks at No. 1 if she goes deep at Flushing Meadows.Caple: She has already won four Olympic gold medals. She will definitely want another, but winning her 23rd Grand Slam and passing Graf will mean more, especially since Serena will turn 35 at the end of September.Garber: Some non-Americans point to the significance of the Olympics over the Slams, but I think Serena would take a US Open title in a heartbeat. That would be a record-breaking 23rd major, after all.Isaacson: Serena has never maade any secret about the value with which she puts into the Olympics and her four gold medals.dddddddddddd But a US Open title will forever distance her from the best in modern-day tennis and settle any lingering debate as to whether she is the greatest of all time.Should we expect any kind of post-Wimbledon hangover from Andy Murray?Atkin: Murray admitted to having a brutal hangover after enjoying a well-earned trip to a London nightclub following his Wimbledon win. But he wisely opted to skip Britains Davis Cup tie against Serbia and will not be at the Rogers Cup. It appears he is well-aware he needs to keep himself fresh if he wants to make it back-to-back majors.Caple: No. It should only make him feel better. Now, whether that will help him win gold in Rio or add a Slam at the US Open is up for debate. My bet would be he wont, but not because of any hangover, but because Djokovic should be back in top form.Garber: I dont think so. The last time Murray and Lendl teamed up they won a major (the 2012 US Open) and an Olympic gold in the same summer.Isaacson: Murray made a point of saying that after winning his second Wimbledon title, he wants to focus on consistent performances all year and, specifically, the No. 1 ranking. That motivation should be a quick antidote for any potential hangover.Who will have a better summer? Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal?Nic Atkin: Both men are out of the Rogers Cup with injuries -- but Nadals wrist issue must be more of a concern. As Federer showed at Wimbledon, he has been able to put his 2016 niggles behind him and should be good for another run to the last eight at the US Open at least. Historically, Nadal has taken longer to rehab.Caple: How about neither? Fed is 34, hasnt made it to a final this year and has missed multiple tournaments with injuries. Nadal is younger (30) and has won two tournaments in 2016, but he isnt at his peak anymore, either. Its time to look more to the next generation.Garber: Federer. After missing the French Open, he seems good to go. Rafa has the longer road back.Isaacson: Hmmm. Both have withdrawn from the Toronto Masters. Fed said he wants to rest, and Nadal conceded hes still not fully recovered from his wrist injury. No reason to think Fed wont bounce back stronger after a little breather. ' ' '
