Morgan State?has removed the interim tag and named Fred Farrier as its head coach.The 44-year-old Farrier was named the interim coach in February and led Morgan State to a 3-8 record this season, including 3-5 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The Bears had four players earn all-conference honors and 15 selected to the conferences academic team.In my assessment of the football program, it became clear to me that Coach Farrier is committed to the values of Morgan State University and the athletics department, athletic director Edward Scott said.
