In the week which made way for the release of the film, 'Sunday' saw a move up by a spot. 'Manzar', as like the title song as well as 'Kashmakash', has made it's mark and is fetching a good response at the theaters as well. An 'item song' album, just like 'Cash', 'Sunday' is a hit!

Minuses
None. Even the worst of detractors can't really complain here.

Raghav Sachar has been short-changed, and how. His song 'Manzar', a part of Sunday's soundtrack, has brought him nothing but grief. First, he was left out of the song's picturisation because the producers wanted a famous face, Tusshar Kapoor; and now his name has been drooped off from the CD cover even though he is the singer and composer for that song.

Incidentally, Raghav has done a lot of tracks for Sunday's producer Kumar Mangat, but this is the first time he was short-changed by him.

Raghav says, "Well, the damage is done and I have spoken to Kumarji. There is no mistake from his office. It is the fault of either the music company, Eros, or the designer, Rahul Nanda, who has committed the flaw."

When asked if he was planning legal action against the music compnay or the production house, Big Screen Entertainment, Raghav replies, "I was planning to, but I don't know where exactly the mistake has actually originated. As I have a lot of contracts lined up, I don't think making a big noise about this will make sense."

Raghav has composed songs for One Two Three and Haal-e-Dil and also has his album Play It Loud out in stores.

Sunday auf Platz 5 (Vorwoche Platz 4)!

Somehow the album has just not scaled up at all after a thunderous entry into the charts. With all it's ammunition exhausted and the film also not achieving the kind of success one expected, the music may just about go on to play a sustaining role in the charts.

Minuses
Shibani Kashyap's video of her song 'Kashmakash' is out and isn't half as impressive as the original film version picturised on Esha Deol.

Seeing a fall by a couple of spots, 'Sunday' has now started loosing flavor at the music stands. After an initial euphoria caused by the songs, 'Sunday' has best managed to be instant coffee.

Minuses
The film hasn't worked to it's potential and that has adversely impacted the longevity of music too.

This one is a surprise re-entry into the Top-5 of charts. Jumping up by 3 spots even as the film is showing an exit after an average run at the box office, the music has managed to keep itself sustained. This is a complete 'item' album!

Minuses
Even though the album is a success and music peppy, purists have taken it upon them to dismiss it at every given opportunity

'Sunday' continues to do a flip-flop into the charts. After jumping by 3 spots, it sees a fall again by 3 spots to find itself at #7. The title song is still attracting eyeballs though.

Minuses
Even though the album is a success and music peppy, purists have taken it upon them to dismiss it at every given opportunity

Seeing a drop by a couple of spots, the music of 'Sunday' is on it's way out. The album has seen some of the most massive swings in the charts since it's arrival. Whether it was it's move or down, 'Sunday' has typically been erratic in it's sales.

Minuses
Even though 'Sunday' boasts of good music, surprisingly the music company is not continuing to publicize it at all. The promotion has come to an abrupt end ever since the film completed it's box office run.

With hardly much of a competition around, ‘Sunday’ holds on to find a Top-10 place. The DVDs of the film have hit the stands and that should continue to keep ‘Sunday’ in circulation.

The film has completed 50 days at the box office and after an initial hiccup, it has settled down to be an average success. Similarly music too has done well, though not as good as what it truly deserved.

Minuses
Songs like 'Manzar' and 'Kashmakash' deserved to meet with a much better response.
