Producer Kumar Mangat and his team are repeating the formula of SUNDAY in their next production ONE TWO THREE.
Readers may remember that SUNDAY had boasted of a promotional video of the title song 'Missing Sunday' which included not just the prime cast of the film but also the supporting actors of the likes of Murali Sharma and Mukesh Tiwari amongst others.
The story is repeated for ONE TWO THREE for which Raghav Sachar composed title song 'One Two Three' has just been unveiled on the music channels. A funky number, it features the huge cast comprising of Sunil Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Upen Patel, Esha Deol, Sameera Reddy, Tanisha Mukherjee and Neetu Chandra along with the other actors from the supporting cast.
A naughty track that has a glossy appeal to it and has all the female actors exuding the right charm, 'One Two Three' is all set to be a popular number in the making.
Rakesh Roshan the experienced film maker and the proud owner of many hits in his kitty is having a teething problem and that too from new comer Ajay Devgan, who is making his debut as director. Apparently, Ajay is releasing the film 'U, Me aur Hum' on April 11th and considering the tremendous positive talk that the film is generating, Rakesh is said to have approached Ajay with a request to postpone his release by a week, so that his 'Krazzy4' is a solo release. Sadly, Ajay has already made his plans for the film and says that may not be possible. This will be interesting to keep track of...
Kajol has proved that movie stunts are not restricted to men alone.
In her husband Ajay Devgan's directorial debut, U, Me Aur Hum, the actress has performed a stunt all by herself.
"We shot the song Jee le on a cruise liner," says a source from the film's unit. "Ashley Lobo has done the choreography. While performing the number in the evening, Kajol had to leap down from the upper deck. During the leap, she sprained her ankle and fell, thanks to her five-inch heels. But despite that, she took some painkillers and shot the very next day for the same shot."
Ajay Devgan tells us more. "I wanted a salsa for the song," he says. "It was an expensive shoot -- we had more than 100 dancers and a crowd of about 600 people on the cruise. Vishal Bhardwaj composed the salsa number according to the script requirements. It was very brave of Kajol to finish the shoot despite her leg injury."
Everybody knows that Ajay Devgan and wife Kajol performed a lovely salsa for 'Jee le..' in 'U, Me Aur Hum' but what nobody knows is that Kajol displayed heights of professionalism while shooting for the song, despite an injury!!!
Says a unit member, "We shot the song 'Jee le..' on the cruise liner. Ashley Lobo has done the choreography. Once while performing the number in the evening Kajol had to leap down from the upper deck and during the leap she badly sprained her ankle and fell down with much injury, thanks to her five-inch heels! But despite that, she took some painkillers and shot the very next day for the same shot with full bravado!"
The insider adds, "Kajol is such is a professional and always listens to the director. Plus Ajay too was very calm and composed and encouraged Kajol to give her best"
Ajay says, "I wanted a salsa for the song and the steps because that was the requirement of the script. It was an expensive shoot - more than 100 dancers and we had a crowd of about 600 people on the cruise. First we decided what the requirement of the script was and then Vishal made the salsa number. Once Kajol is convinced about the script and the screenplay you don't need to convince her about anything else. It was highly brave and professional of her to finish the shoot despite her bad leg injury."
Well, we always knew Kajol was a director's actress!!

Hard working Ajay Devgan has been toiling non-stop for his directorial debut 'U Me Aur Hum' starring Kajol and himself. However, we hear that he took a break on account of his 9th wedding anniversary!!
Yes, the golden couple of Bollywood, Ajay and Kajol Devgan completed nine years of marriage last Sunday and celebrated the day in a special way with the family.
Well, here's wishing the duo many more years of celebrations to come!
Everybody knows that Ajay Devgan and wife Kajol learnt to salsa for the song, Jee le in U, Me Aur Hum. The inside scoop is that the couple actually had a disagreement during the shooting and at one point, Kajol refused to perform the steps!
Says a unit member, “For one step, Kajol had to leap down from the upper deck and fall into the arms of the waiting dancers below. During the leap, by mistake her hand grazed a dancer’s cheek and it started bleeding.”
Senti?
The source adds, “Kajol didn’t want to do the step after that. She felt bad that someone got hurt because of her and didn’t want to repeat that. After much convincing, she finally agreed but she kept going wrong with the steps.
Kads then decided to not to do that sequence but Ajay, being the director, insisted, leading to a minor argument. Ajay wanted those particular steps and Kajol had to accede to him.”
Ajay denies it all rather diplomatically, “The choreographer decides the dance steps and there was no argument. I wanted a salsa for the song because that was the requirement of the script. Once Kajol is convinced about the screenplay, she doesn’t need convincing about anything else.”
Two left feet
The debutant director has always maintained he’s not comfortable dancing, “But that doesn’t mean I don’t dance in films. I dance wherever it is required and in UMAH also it was required; so I tried and did whatever I could. I didn’t learnt salsa for the film… I just rehearsed the steps. Obviously, Kajol who dances better than me could get it right.
Ajay refuses to rate his chemistry with Kajol. According to him, “It’s always the film and the characters that create their own chemistry. It’s all for the audiences to decide.”
Ajay has a witty repartee when asked about the best dancer in India, “I think its me, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty… because we somehow manage to do the steps and have survived — after always being criticised for our dancing!”
Kajol and Ajay Devgan have always been a very private jodi, and there’s never too much news from their personal lives doing the rounds. Of late though there was a rumour floating around that Kajol was miffed with her hubby because he had discussed one of their personal matters with a family outsider. See, Rajkumar Hirani had approached Kajol and Shahrukh to act in his forthcoming film, and the actress had texted SRK to discuss the offer. Ajay went and spoke to his filmi friend Kumar Mangat about it, and the next thing you knew, everyone in the industry was talking about the film! When Kajol heard, she was furious, and confronted Ajay. Before you think that the marriage is in trouble, let me assure you that they’ve sorted the problem out, and all’s well in their paradise again! Getting back to the music, here’s the pati and patni team in U Me Aur Hum!

The usually grim and brooding actor Ajay Devgan’s comic timing made Golmaal a hit. Now the makers of the film have tried their luck again with a sequel titled Golmaal Returns. CNN-IBN caught Ajay and Arshad Warsi busy shaking a leg for a song sequence for the film, and giving them company was Kareena Kapoor. The original Golmaal was a surprise hit in 2006, but now the makers are using every trick in the book to repeat the success, even if that means getting cowboys to Mumbai. “It’s bloody hot and I am wearing a cowboy hat but I don’t think I should be complaining. It is the art of the job and all of us are trying to do different things and trying different looks,” says Ajay. “Its a spoofy kind of song, its nice and Ganesh master is producing it we have many dancers,” adds Kareena. “It’s a completely crazy song and it’s got a cow boy look. It’s got a bikers look. I am very happy with it, somewhere deep inside I must be a cowboy,” says Arshad. Cowboys aside will the sequel be able to match up to the first one in terms of content? The cast sure seems to think so. “This film definitely has a better storyline it has a star cast it has glamour its on large scale. Everything is much bigger,” says Arshad. “There is a lot of comedy, every character is comedy-like I said its gonna be like this huge fun film,” says Kareena. And Kareena's character in the film takes inspiration from the small screen. “She plays Ajay's wife and Tushar’s sister in the film. She loves watching Balaji soaps and hence her name is Ekta in the film,” says Kareena. Now that is sure one novel way of merging real and reel life.
A few days back we carried an exclusive news on London Dreams where we reported that Rajkumar Santoshi has been replaced by Vipul Shah as the film's director. Here are some more updates about it.
The film which has Salman Khan and Bobby Deol has undergone some more replacements. It is learned that now Bobby Deol has been replaced by Arjun Rampal and this is not all. It is also learned that leading lady Katrina Kaif too will soon be replaced. Watch this space for more developments.
Kann man jetzt nun davon ausgehen, das London Dreams definitiv ohne Ajay ist? Wenn ja, würde ich London Dreams aus der Filmographie rausnehmen und auch nichts mehr dazu posten?

Ram Gopal Varma finally won awards for box-office duds Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag and Nishabd - but he won't be thrilled about it.
Varma and several other celebrities were "honoured" with the 'Bajaate Raho' awards, hosted by a radio station, at a ceremony late on Monday.
Unlike Hollywood's Razzies, which poke fun at the Academy Awards, these awards take a dig at Bollywood, cricket and just about anything that hogged headlines.
Not surprisingly, the "winners" don't show up to accept their awards.
Varma had drawn flak for Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, his ambitious remake of the 1975 film Sholay, which nose-dived at the box-office. The film won him a red boxing glove trophy in the 'Most hyped film before release' category.
The filmmaker also earned the 'Bravery' award for daring to make Nishabd, which has a storyline similar to the 1955 novel Lolita. Lead actor Amitabh Bachchan had also been nominated in the category for playing a man obsessed with his daughter's friend.
Lyricist Gulzar (mediocre lyrics), composer Pritam (copied music), cricketer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth (on-field antics) were among the other celebrity winners of the night.
The city of Mumbai was "honoured" for rude taxi drivers, Delhi for its "killer" Blueline buses and Kolkata for harassment of women using public transport.
Television soaps weren't spared either.
'Baa' - a character from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, a serial that first started airing in 2000, won an award for the unrealistic life span of an old woman.
Acceptance speeches were made on behalf of winners by "duplicates". A man standing in for Varma came dressed in an undershirt and shorts - claiming he could not afford a better outfit after the failure of his films.

... For Lobo too, the experience has been unique. He worked together with about 15 members of his team bringing out moods and moments to be captured for posterity. “Dance is a medium which has many stories to tell. When you see the frames you’ll understand the nuances of our every day life being enacted,” says the man, who has just finished choreographing for Ajay Devgan’s directorial venture, You, Me Aur Hum. “Both Kajol and Ajay are keen learners and it was fantastic the way they came together, particularly in the salsa sequence,” he says. Up next is a song sequence featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Arshad Warsi in Leena Yadav’s next venture Teen Patti. The Mumbai chapter of Danceworx is all set to get underway as well. Clearly, Lobo believes in dancing to his own tunes. ...

With the exam period going on, new releases are far and sparse. While the next major release, Subhash Ghai's BLACK & WHITE is on 7th March, the third week of the month (21st to be exact) will see the much publicized Abbas-Mustan directed multistarrer RACE taking on another multistarrer, producer Kumar Mangat's, ONE TWO THREE. While RACE was going to be the solo release of the week, EROS International Presentation, ONE TWO THREE, has been pre-poned to take advantage of the additional holidays during the weekend.
However, the next and much talked about big clash between Ajay Devgan's directorial debut venture, U, ME AUR HUM and Rakesh Roshan's, KRAZZY 4 may not really happen. As per trade sources, there has been some progress in the talks between the two concerned parties, and chances are that one of the two might be postponed by a week, to give the other a free run.
We must add here that it is still not clear whether it will be Ajay-Kajol's U, ME AUR HUM or Filmkraft's Jaideep Sen directed KRAZZY 4. At present both the films are listed for release on 11th April in prominent trade journals.
The trade news is that Abbas-Mustan's Mr Fraud has been shelved. The film being directed by the duo for Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, had been in theworks for almost three years.
After a marathon schedule in London, shooting came to a stand still following Sanjay Dutt's legal problems. A schedule planned for last November had to be scraped because Dutt was jailed.
"The production house and the director are keen to wrap up the film but the chances are bleak. Both the leading men, Sanjay and Ajay Devgan are busy with other commitments. It's nearly impossible to get their combination dates," according to a source.
Booked 'Solid' It is being argued that Dutt is not happy that Devgan has opted out of his home production film Beehad being directed by Milan Luthria. Meanwhile Dutt has dropped out of Vishal Bharadwaj's Julia.
Result: Beehad has been put on hold while Julia has been scrapped. Dharam Oberoi who's the CEO of Dutt's production house, insists that the actor intends to complete all his pending projects before he starts on any new movies, including his home productions.
"He will complete Mr Fraud too," assures Oberoi, adding, "But he's booked solid for the next few months."
Prod him on Dutt's reported annoyance with Devgan and Oberoi retorts, "There are no issues on that front. They're both very busy. We're trying to work out combination dates.. but it's not easy."
Meanwhile, Mr Fraud languishes in the cans.
