Mumbai: Well, there is some unusual news for the fans of 'Salman Khan' who might be thinking that their loving actor would be seen playing a full fledged role in "London Dreams".
As per the reliable sources the actor will be seen playing a supporting roll in his upcoming and much awaited movie London Dreams.
The testimony of the above speculation radiates from the fact that it is none other than lead actor 'Ajay Devgan' who has worked hard on the heart-wrenching climax scene in the movie.
Ajay Devgan says that Salman has put in a very special performance in London Dreams. He is also full of praise for Salman. He adds that the actor would move the audience from within and will also fill their eyes with water by his performance in the dramatic climax scene. This performance by Salman will indeed be worth a watch in Vipul Shah's London Dreams.
The buzz on his first trailer of All the Best, a tale of mistaken identities and hilarious goof-ups, is so strong that he’s been receiving congratulatory mails galore from the film fraternity.
“You can call it the best Diwali bonanza of 2009,’’ he says. “It is the sort of entertainer that will go down well with every kind of audience.’’
He admits that he went to great lengths to make sure his film comes on October 16, because it is the kind of comedy that should be seen with your family and friends. “What better timing than Diwali,’’ he asks of this film that appears to be a mad comedy of the Munnabhai-meets Golmaal-team type.
The film is additionally exciting because it brings together the lethal combination of Ajay and Rohit Shetty. And Ajay, who has spared no expense to make this Devgan Films enterprise one of the most expensive Bollywood films to be mounted, feels that like Shetty’s earlier flicks — Golmaal and Golmaal Returns, All the Best will definitely set the box office on fire.
The film has been shot on the picturesque locales of Goa and it has all the ingredients of a big screen spectacle. “I would never say this... but the theatrical trailers have been so well received, that I’m positive this will be your big ticket ride this Diwali,’’ says Rohit. He adds, “Sanjay Dutt has never looked so good, he has taken comedy to a new level.’’
He is also all praise for Fardeen Khan, whose ‘rock-star’ look is fresh and appealing and whose comic skills have been honed after doing a half a dozen rom-coms. Lending oomph to proceedings are femme fatales Bipasha Basu, who is attempting a full-blown comedy after her class act in No Entry, and hot-stepper Mugdha Godse, who is all set to impress once again with her ‘natural’ screen presence.
Looks like after 'Golmaal Returns' Ajay Devagan is going to make a hat trick in comedy! His forthcoming production, ‘All the Best’, is all-set to tickle audience’s funny bone, this Diwali.
‘All the Best’ is produced by Ajay Devagan and directed by Rohit Shetty. The movie has an interesting star cast that includes Ajay Devagan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse. Sources say that the producer-actor had tried his best to bring the movie as a Diwali release because it is one such movie that should be watched along with family and friends. Ajay had said, “You can call it the best Diwali bonanza of 2009. It is the sort of entertainer that will go down well with every kind of audience.”
Already the movie’s trailer has been generating good response and so the movie makers are expecting the movie to become a big-time success. Reports say that all the stars of the movie have put in good efforts to bring a refreshing entertainer for the people.
Well, all we can say now is All the Best to the team!
Here's a dekho of the poster of Ajay Devgan's All The Best, directed by Rohit Shetty.
Look closely and you will see that Ajay has dropped the alphabet 'a' in his surname and added an extra 'f' to films to make his banner read 'Ajay Devgn Ffilms'.
And this is no spelling error! Guess it has been made numerologically correct to seek divine intervention. The Diwali release stars Devgan along Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse.
Ajay Devgan’s upcoming laugh riot All the Best boasts of being the biggest entertainer to hit Diwali this year.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is an adaptation of the Hindi play Uncle Samjha Karo (2003), penned by Paritosh Painter and Balwinder Singh Suri.
Starring Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse, the story revolves around mistaken identities, a sort of Comedy of Errors. Sanjay Dutt plays the doting big brother of Fardeen Khan, who has yet to show his worth anywhere and is entirely dependant on Dutt for his survival. Ajay Devgan is a close friend of Fardeen. When Dutt suddenly decides to check on his younger brother Devgan is at his home visiting with his wife, who Dutt mistakes to be Fardeen’s wife.
Rohit Shetty spoke of the film, saying, 'The film isn’t a mindless comedy, it’s mature and entertaining. There are some serious stunts in the film which will have you in awe, nothing like what we did in Golmaal Returns.'
Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan have all new avatars in the film. Fardeen plays a rocker in the film and had to learn how to play the guitar while Sanjay his brother learned the drums. Rohit said, “Sanjay Dutt is very good with instruments. In the past, I have seen his films where he used to play the guitar so effortlessly. Even in this film he has a scene where he plays the drums. I brought in two trainers from Mumbai for him to practice and get the feel of the instruments. But Sanjay surprised me by asking if he could do it on his own. And he impressed everyone when he shot it perfectly in just one take! The same goes for Fardeen who was effortless with the guitar.”
Fardeen who worked hard to perfect his look as a rockstar even got a goatee. “I had to look natural while playing the guitar and while it was tough in the beginning I got a hang of it soon. I’m not too bad it either. The entire process was a lot of fun and it was party on the sets,” he said.
Dudly is the cinematographer and the screenplay penned by Robin Bhatt, Yunus Sajawal and Farhad-Sajid. The film is co-produced by Kumar Mangat and executive produced by Vikrant Sharma.
The film releases October 16th and StarBoxOffice wishes it All the Best!

Ajay Devgan proposes to Bipasha Basu suspended eight feet above the ground in an upturned car for All The Best Gratifyingly, she accepts...
Ajay Devgan, who is known for his daredevil stunt scenes, has broken all his part records in his forthcoming film, All The Best. He has proposed to leading lady Bipasha Basu in an upturned car, which is suspended mid-air.
A source from the production unit said, “It’s quite a unique stunt. We took all the precautions as it was risky for both Ajay and Bipasha. The car was suspended mid-air and Bipasha had to stand under it. Ajay had to maintain his balance in the car and, at the same time, look romantic as he was proposing to Bipasha by offering her a rose. It took almost two days to plan the scene and an entire day to shoot it.”
Love was never expressed like this before on screen

What’s the craziest way a guy can propose a girl? If Akshay Kumar dived into an ocean and proposed Kareena Kapoor underwater in Kambakkht Ishq, Ajay Devgan has taken the opposite route.
In director Rohit Shetty’s upcoming comedy All The Best, Ajay proposes Bipasha Basu from a car suspended mid air. The scene had Ajay seated in a sports car dangling 8 feet above the ground and giving out a rose to Bipasha standing on the road.
The scene must have been the brainchild of director Rohit Shetty who has a fascination for cars and often blows a couple of them in all his films.
However, since the stunt was risky all the necessary precautions were taken. It took two days’ preparation to set up the scene. Ajay, who debuted in Bollywood as an action hero, had to brave a greater risk because if the stunt went wrong the suspended car would have come crashing down.
Thankfully, everything went fine and the scene was shot during the course of a day.
‘All The Best’ is a multi-starrer comedy featuring Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and Mugdha Godse besides Ajay and Bipasha.

Ajay Devgan as a rock star, strumming away the heated strings on stage is a hard act to swallow.
Not for Vipul Shah, who has cast Devgan as a rock-star musician in London Dreams. The gritty sweaty ambience, the riveting guitar licks, the angst-filled vocals and the screaming hysterical fans…Devgan goes through the rock motions in the film with élan.
Says Vipul, “So far we’ve only seen him in a sedate or comic image, never as someone who can cross the frontiers and do something outrageous.”
Vipul hasn’t quite converted Devgan in to an outrageously punk rock star.
“No, not quite the reckless renegade. I’ve modeled Ajay’s rock act on Bono, the Irish lead singer from U2. Bono was never your quintessential rock star. He had a more sober and a less wild image. When Ajay gets on stage in London Dreams he replicates the curbed tempered-down rock-star’s image of U2. Yes, I modeled him on Bono.”
Interestingly Salman Khan who started calling himself a “rock star’ even before the term was coined has no particular image in London Dreams. “He plays a more improvisational musician whereas Devgan plays a more professional rock musician,” informs Vipul. Vipul has already shot all the on-stage performances except one. “I wanted to see how the other stage performances look before shooting the last one. I was afraid they’d all look the same. But they’ve all come out differently. And Ajay looks like a rock star in the truest sense of the word.”

Its common knowledge that talking about music before the gigantic T-Series is like holding a torch light before the sun! So, it becomes needless to say that 'Whenever there is music, there will be T-Series'. And this time round, for London Dreams T-Series gave us the best offer. Hence, we went ahead with T-Series."
While, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, on his part, commented saying "As always as a company we want big films, producers and banners to sign on with us, this year thanks to all the corporate deals, out marketing strategy, and relations and also with the digital marketing strength from Hungama every producer and banner is looking at a contract with us. So on the whole it's really great to have such banners and names attached to T Series and it shows what we wanted and what we have achieved."

It has been just one weekend of the promo release of ALL THE BEST and the film is already in huge demand. An out and out entertaining look, feel and treatment of this Rohit Shetty film has ensured that this Diwali would have quite some 'dhamaka' in store when the film hits the screens on 16th October.
As a result of this, there has been such leap in excitement amongst distributors and exhibitors that even the promos reels are being put together in dozens. Even though the film is still close to 50 days away from release and original plans were to unleash them in theaters only towards mid-September (when DIL BOLE HADIPPA and WANTED arrive), the promos would now be screened even earlier.
Confirms Rohit Shetty, who now carries the reputation of Mr. Dependable after GOLMAAL and GOLMAAL RETURNS, ''We were actually contemplating bringing the promos of ALL THE BEST in theaters a month before its release. However, there has been such around positive feedback - touchwood - that there is huge demand for the promo reels. Distributors and exhibitors have called up from different parts of the country and said that they are willing to beam them with so many other movies that are releasing over next few weeks. We are in the process of dispatching the prints.''
With the promo creating such a stir, one can well gauge the kind of opening ALL THE BEST is expected to take once it arrives in theaters along with BLUE. With Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Bipasha Basu, Fardeen Khan and Mugdha Godse coming together for this family entertainer, there are indeed going to be fireworks galore.
The first look of Rohit Shetty's 'All The Best' is out. The film's promos have also started being aired. The movie, which is co produced by Ajay Devgan is all set to create a dhamaal on Diwali. Contrary to rumors, despite the crowd at the box office for the Diwali week, Devgan and producer Kumar Mangat are going ahead with the release of their film. 'All The Best' sees Shetty sticking to his tried and tested genre of comedy. Even though he has slipped up with an odd Sunday, the director has more or less managed to hit the bull's eye with his comedies like both the 'Golmaal' films. 'All The Best', stars his favorite actor, Devgan, along with Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan. The female brigade is led by Bipasha Basu in a double role and Mugdha Godse. From the looks of it, the film seems to be packaged with the usual 'Golmaal' style gags and antics. But what stands out form the promos is the candy floss look of the movie, with a strong use of pinks and blues. There is a youthful energy about the promo and Shetty seems to have packaged his film very well. All three actors, Sanju, Devgan (in a moustache), and Fardeen seem to be looking great and match their female counterparts Bipasha and Mugdha. All seems to be set for the best for this movie
Perhaps it's a thing with most hunks. Beneath the tough exterior is usually a softie with a heart of gold.
I do know Suniel Shetty to be quite a sweetheart and those who know Salman Khan closely will vouch for him too.
It seems to me that action star Ajay Devgan is slowly but steadily joining the league. The actor whose next film All the Best is up for release has apparently sponsored the treatment of a cancer patient in Mumbai.
Ajay, it seems, is taking a leaf out of pal Salman Khan's book. Salman had recently sponsored the treatment of ten cancer patients.
A little birdie tells me that Ajay Devgan's heart melted when a cancer patient approached him for help. He was so moved by the man's plight, Ajay Devgan promptly decided to sponsor the treatment.
It is not just Salman Khan more Bollywood stars are interested in owning Indian Premier League (IPL) teams including Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan. IPL Chairman Lalit Modi had confirmed to TIMES NOW just a while ago that other stars too are interested in buying IPL teams.
IPL is set to introduce two new teams in the 2011 season and the franchise may “cost over $200-300 million”. At present, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla (Kolkata Knight Riders), Preity Zinta (King's XI Punjab) and Shilpa Shetty (Rajasthan Royals) are associated with the high-profile Twenty20 cricket tournament.
Vipul Shah has brought us family dramas and comedies both as a producer and a director. His last production "Singh is Kinng" became a huge hit at the box office. This October, after directing "Namastey London," Vipul Shah returns to London and the director’s chair to work on his next film "London Dreams." The movie brings Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan together again after their collaboration on "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam." "London Dreams" also marks the return of Asin after her blockbuster hit "Ghajini."
The film is about two childhood friends who want to make it big in the music industry. They start a band called London Dreams to help realize their goal. The two friends, played by Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan, are the lead singers of the band. Their friendship takes a turn for the worse after they both fall in love with the dancer of their band, played by Asin. To see what the film is about, check out the promo below and tell us if this film will become another hit this year.
Ajay Devgan sure seems to have taken his films' poor box office results to heart. So, now a superstitious Ajay has changed the spelling of his surname.
In his next production All The Best - directed by pal Rohit Shetty - he spells Devgan without 'a'. So now it's Devgn! All The Best has snazzy promos and will hit the theatres this Diwali. His banner name is now Ajay Devgn Ffilms.
Don't forget to note the extra F too. If all the hard work, lavish sets, stunts and big stars have not helped Ajay at the box office, maybe the change in spellings will bring him luck.
