Ajay Devgan and wife Kajol spent the day spreading cheer amongst the underprivileged kids from Smile Foundation.

The children had specially requested to meet the star couple as their Valentine treat they were bought to the sets of Toonpur Ka Superhero produced by Kumar Mangat and directed by Kireet Khurana. Kajol and Ajay fielded questions on what their favourites were.

One kid even performed to Ajay's favourite song from his film Ishq. While Kajol had another girl complimenting her on her looks and acting skills and being told that she wanted to grow up to be like Kajol.

Ajay and Kajol were given roses by the children before Ajay left for Bhopal to shoot for Prakash Jha's Rajniti.

Ein Mädchen beglückwünschte Kajol "Didi aap bahot sundar ho, main bade hokar aap jaisi Banane chanhti hoon " (Didi Sie sind sehr hübsch, ich möchte so wie sie sein, wenn ich erwachsen bin) .Kajol selbst passte sich den Kindern an und fragte sie alle nach ihrem Namen und ließ Photos mit Ihnen machen.

Kajol zitierte : "Ich wünschte, ich hätte noch mehr Zeit mit diesen Kindern verbringen können. Es war großartig Zeit mit ihnen zu verbringen.

Zum Schluss überreichten die Kinder rote Rosen und das Paar gab den Kindern Autogramme. Gemeinsam mit den Kindern,eroberten Ajay und Kajol den besonderen Moment für immer in ihren Herzen.

The handsome Devgan couple doesn’t show love. Public display of emotion is just not their style, but they surely feel it, and this we realise as we chat up with Kajol and Ajay about Valentine’s Day. “It is for those who have to keep one day aside to tell their loved ones that they love them. And who need to be ‘reminded’ that there is someone whom they ought to love. But for those who show that they care throughout the year, it’s just another day,” says Ajay, sweeping Kajol off her feet all over again! “That’s wonderfully said, J,” she admits. ‘J’ is what ‘K’ lovingly calls her hubby.

Her views on V-Day are ditto, but the actress likes the concept. “It’s a sweet thing. But I don’t see myself celebrating it,” she confesses. Kajol is quite mush. “She reads a lot of romance fiction, and that naturally makes her the more romantic of the two,” reasons Ajay. “I am more practical, and don’t go out of my way to be romantic. I’m lazy in that department. She complains on and off, and when it reaches a bottleneck, I take her out to dinner or something.”

So, any gifts planned for today, I ask Ajay. “Love isn’t about the gifts you give or receive. You may give ten thousand things to somebody, and yet not love that person enough and fool her by your generosity. I believe that the little things I do for my family, I do out of love. That’s my gift to them,” he replies.

Adds Kajol, “What we try and celebrate every single day is not the You or the Me. It’s the Hum!” With the Devgans, pyar toh hona hi tha!

Kajol and Ajay Devgan will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in Bhopal where Ajay is shooting for Rajniti

Kajol and Ajay Devgan are looking forward to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary on February 24. On Saturday, Kajol left Mumbai with daughter Nysa to join Ajay, who’s shooting for Prakash Jha’s Rajniti in Bhopal.

A source close to Devgans said, “Ajay has been in Bhopal since February 15. Given the film’s tight schedule, he cannot come down to Mumbai for his wedding anniversary.

Also, Kajol, who’s back from the Los Angeles schedule of Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan, has been missing Ajay since the last few days.

So, she decided to make the most of the opportunity and spend quality time with hubby dear.”

Nysa, Kajol and Ajay’s five-year-old daughter, is also in Bhopal with the couple. Our source added, “Ajay too has been longing to meet his daughter, whom he hasn’t seen in a while (as she was with her mother in Los Angeles).

So the time seemed perfect for a family reunion. After the celebrations on February 24, Kajol and Nysa will return to Mumbai the very next day.”

It has been a while since the two stars John Abraham and Ajay Devgan have been gunning for the noted director Milan Luthria. For sometime, it appeared that Johnny boy was the lucky one since Milan started Ajay's venture but then it got held due to some financial issues. But then there is news that Milan has been able to sort them out and now he has gone back to Ajay's camp. So it will be a while before John can go ahead with his home production with Milan wielding the megaphone.

While most stars would throw a grand party on something as significant as their 10th wedding anniversary, Ajay Devgan chose to celebrate it at home quietly with family and close friends.

This time it's a double celebration his wedding anniversary and his mom Veena's birthday (Feb 19).

Never been flashy

Talking about it, a friend close to Ajay says, "Ajay has never believed in hosting big bashes.

For him, celebrations mean spending time with loved ones wife Kajol, daughter Nysa, parents Veeru and Veena, sisters Neelam, Kavita and nephews, sis-in-law Tanishaa and mother-in-law Tanuja.

This year, though he was shooting for Prakash Jha's Rajniti in Bhopal, Ajay suddenly decided to wind up his shoot early and come back to Mumbai Monday night.

This is also Ajay and Kajol's 10th anniversary (February 24). Ajay a complete romantic, wanted to make the day very special for Kajol."

Change of plans

The friend further informs, "Kajol and Nysa had joined Ajay in Bhopal last week. Initially, they were to return yesterday evening and celebrate their anniversary in-flight.

Ajay had initially planned something very romantic for Kajol on air. Ajay is extremely attached to his mother and was feeling bad that he couldn't celebrate her birthday.

Ajay specially flew back for his mom and celebrated her birthday again in Mumbai with cake and a special gift for her. He goes back to Bhopal on March 7.

After finalising details for his home production with Rohit Shetty yesterday afternoon, Ajay and Kajol went out for dinner at a 7-star hotel in Juhu last night."

In Rajniti, Ajay plays a modern-day Karna (a character from the epic, Maha- bharata) and has been building up his physique for that.

The bonding between Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt is getting stronger by the day. Not only has Dutt agreed to do Devgan's comedy directed by Rohit Shetty, in spite of his decision to concentrate on his newly - started political career, Dutt also decided to allot dates to Shetty's film All The Best immediately.

However, the first of schedule of All The Best which was supposed to start from March 5 has been moved to March 10, leading to speculation whether there's trouble in paradise.

But Dharam Oberoi, the CEO of Sanjay Dutt films quickly quells all controversy. "Before people start imagining there's a problem between Mr. Dutt and Mr. Devgan let me say the dates have been kindly re-adjusted by Mr. Devgan to accommodate the last schedule of Blue which now begins on March 1."

Apparently, coordinating Sanjay's dates with Akshay Kumar for Blue has been a problem. Says Oberoi, "They're both busy artistes. Yes it has been a problem coordinating their dates. In fact the last schedule from March 1 has been arranged to accommodate Akshay Kumar because he has to leave. Ajay's film was to start on March 5. But he kindly agreed to shift forward his film to March 10 to accommodate the last schedule of Blue."

A police complaint has been filed against Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan in the Jharkhand capital by the owner of a production house, charging the actor with cheating, police sources said on Saturday.

According to the sources, the FIR was lodged in Argora police station of the city on Friday by Rajesh Kumar Prasad of Kumar Art International (KAI), charging the actor with cheating, as he had not assigned dates for the movie he signed even after taking the signing amount.

The complaint says KAI, which also has an office Mumbai, signed a movie with Devgan January 1995. The actor was to be paid Rs 2.1 million, and KAI gave him Rs. 200,000 as signing amount.

Ajay, who plays the lead role in the movie, had spared only few hours and after that never bothered, the complaint said.

The complaint also says that Prasad approached the actor's personal secretary to get time but did not get any positive response. After waiting for 14 years, he lodged FIR against Ajay.

The FIR has been lodged under different sections of IPC including 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating).

Prasad, a resident of Ranchi, said the movie agreement was signed here itself. He further said Ajay's act caused heavy financial loss and mental stress to him.

Die Beschwerde sagte KAI, der auch ein Büro in Mumbai hat, beinhaltete eine Vertragsunterschrift für einen Film mit Devgan 1995. Dem Schauspieler sollten Rs 2.1 Millionen bezahlt werden, und KAI gab ihm Rs. 200.000 als unterzeichneten Betrag.

Ajay, der die Hauptrolle im Film spielte, hatte nur wenige Stunden Zeit, und danach keine Lust mehr, sagte die Beschwerde aus.

Die Beschwerde sagt auch, dass sich Prasad dem persönlichen Sekretär des Schauspieler's näherte, um Zeit zu bekommen, aber keine positive Antwort bekam. Nach dem er 14 Jahren gewartet hatte, reichte er eine Beschwerde gegen Ajay ein.

Die Beschwerde ist unter verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten eingereicht worden, inklusive 406 (kriminellem Vertrauensbruch) und 420 (Betrug).

MUMBAI: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has "detained'' about 70 superbikes from Mumbai and Pune, including the one being used by actor
Ajay Devgan, for alleged duty evasion. Superbikes are not manufactured in India; these bikes were not imported in one piece, but as parts over several years, and then assembled.

While the newly imported bikes attract 60% duty, old bikes attract 100% duty. The parts, on the other hand, are brought in at 24% duty.

Five swanky bikes, mainly of Honda make, are "detained'' the Marine Lines office of the DRI. One of them is a Suzuki Hayabusa. Some of these can attain a speed of 200 kmph. On Thursday, 22 premises, including some automobile showrooms, were searched. Some bikes were picked up from the homes of owners, like that of Devgan. Film-maker Sanjay Gupta's bike is also under the scanner. He, however, denied that it had been "detained''.

The DRI worked backwards on the information that customs data in Mumbai did not show any imports of bikes, but they were being used all over, specially in suburbs like Bandra and Andheri and even in south Mumbai. The RTO registrations of these bikes led the DRI to the documents of sale and import, including the bills of entry, which turned out to be forged.

The parts were imported from Singapore. The DRI is still checking whether they were imported as misdeclared cargo. The superbikes are sold for anything between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 15 lakh. The number of bikes "detained'' will go up substantially, as the agency is still on the job. Sources said neither Devgan nor the other owners might have known about the way the bikes were imported.
